ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.
Players earn bonus points as they attack other players. These points can be spent on special attacks. The video shows a level 1 bonus attack.

What...
So..a kill-streak system, basically?
no
No that was just a special attack.
This is a real game, not Call of Duty.
That doesn't answer his question, you just compared this fighting game to an irrelevant first person shooter.
The fact that your comment got so many points up makes me worry about the multiplayer community this game will have.
Read the description, it is basically "kill streaks." or maybe he worded it wrong and meant something completely different. I hope they make this optional, a game with more options is a better game.
waz up! cool move!!
I will suck so bad at this. :D
Not impressed...
I take it no one likes the "points system" to launch an attack?
Just to clarify, The "points system" is only used for bonus attacks. You can think of them as power-ups that you collect as you play.
Bonus Points to not have any bearing on normal ki/melee attacks.
hmm, interesting.
i dont mind the point system actually, except instead of points id rather use the term moral or (ki) as you attack your ki goes up, and of course you need ki to do any special attack in DBZ. so its pretty suitable
No. I think that's a bad idea. Ki does not just build up by flying and hitting people. The Ki in your body is like a bucket of water or a gas tank filled with gas except it slowly fills naturally and you can also fill it faster manually. Personally I'm not all that fond of how in ESF you power up to fill your body's Ki. A power up should be more like it is in Open Beta where holding the turbo button increased your power level and consumed Ki. But unfortunately without the way ESF does the power up you end up with what ZEQ2 - Lite has with you low on Ki, powering down waiting for your ki to go back up, powering back up then fighting.
Its looking more and more like a pretty cinematic game minus the dialog tbh, i wonder if its actually going to be as fun to play as it is to watch... :o

those kicks look pretty slow giving it not so much of an impact imo with the exception of that finishing kick.
