For the next 10 days, the ESF Team will be feeding you guys content from the Beta every day. To start, the team would like to show you guys our new HUD, Player Shadows, and an addition to the Scouter.
The player shadow is a basic fx addition to the game. It’s still w.i.p and is OpenGl only and therefore an optional addition. You can activate/deactivate it in the advanced options. At the moment it is only configured to work on the local player.
The new HUD System is openGL only. It uses a XML configuration file to position alpha-transparent png files on the screen. The HUDs are fully customizable and moddable by the public. The Open Beta will ship with two default HUDs which can be easily enabled within the advanced-options menu.
