Dynamic Campaign Generator (DCG) is a mod for the game "Men of War" and some of its successors that randomly generates skirmish missions and lets you keep your surviving forces from one battle to another. Some people find this mod tricky to install the first time - please read the readme.txt carefully and ask for help (if you need it) on our forums here on this site, or at the game developer's site.

I think i found a way to get the mod working, without resizing your resolution to ridiculous size, but it's not perfect at the moment. Someone wrote: men of war assault squad\mods\Campaign\resource\map\single and rename the DCG folder to 00_DCG. It will now appear as a first campaign in skirmish menu.
path while creating a new map, so if an author could change the path within a software to men of war assault squad\mods\Campaign\resource\map\single\ 00_DCG this will eliminate the need of resizing and allow laptop players like me (who can't increase the size of their game window that much) to enjoy the mod hassle free. Thank you for a great release. Im thinking of starting sub mod for this Cheers, Edited by: confusB |

also DCG fodler in there should be renamed to 00_dcg to evade string problems( so mission names and such show as intended). So in order to fix this mod the campaign.exe should change the path it creates new maps to those, because now i can only play by renaming the folders starting the mission, playing it and when it finishes reverting the changes since the program still tries to load map files from original location, and repeat the whole process every mission, which really adds a lot of extra work, so if you could just release a AS version of the mod with those fixes i think not only me but a lot of people would be grateful to you jason thanks for your time, cheers. Here's a much better fix! Just unzip this file into your mods folder and everything should work fine: Basically, I resized the MoW logo at the top of the menu and then all the buttons move higher. Let us know how it works for you. |
