Aditional Scenario/Front Italy vs Japan Thread - Dynamic Campaign Generator (DCG) mod for Men of War
Dynamic Campaign Generator (DCG) is a mod for the game "Men of War" and some of its successors that randomly generates skirmish missions and lets you keep your surviving forces from one battle to another. Some people find this mod tricky to install the first time - please read the readme.txt carefully and ask for help (if you need it) on our forums here on this site, or at the game developer's site.

As i was revisiting my old Italian campaign, i stumbled on the realization that Italy practically fought with almost all participants on ww2, on the first half against Usa/Uk/USSR and later against Itself/Germany, but then the question flashed ¿Did Italy fight japan too?, and the answer is somewhat obscure, the only references i had for an hypothetical scenario was an old documentary about the incident when Italy switched sides and naval/land units became stranded with Japanese/German forces, a conflict happened on the Italy concession on china, on Tianjin/Tiantsin, the city was divided on the 1900 on 4/5 sides, and the incident i based the scenario was on two separated firefights incidents, one on Beijing and the other on Tiantsin, the later on September 1 to 12, when Italian command surrendered and requisitioned the cannons and motorized/mechanized equipment. The Italian forces had ammo, supplies and weapons in forte, enough to resist a little while, so with that historical context and not only a mp match, so the hypothetical front has from September 1 to 30, just to test the waters, against Japan, because italy scuttled its navy and had no airforce nearby i upped the air support cost, because i did not find the command to disable airforce just for additional fronts. would it be ok to upload the xml file to this front?, its just a copy and paste to suit a match between the two mentioned nations. How to add: put the xml file on the corresponding XML folder, example Men of War\mods\Campaign\xml, then play as a ordinary front from either the Italian or Japan side Edited by: pochez01 |
