Ever since ETW came out, players have wished for replacements for the CGI style portraits that carried over from Medieval II (this time with wigs). Over the years, several extensive, as well as partial mod packs have been released here and there in order to remedy this situation. The most well known is the one originally made by Onkel Tuca, and used for Darthmod Empire. However, subsequent attempts to complete the full culture specific portraits categories for the game have been spread out - meaning that they can be difficult to find in one cohesive package. At least I thought so.

Ever since I first started playing Napoleon: Total War (having played ETW the year before), I have wished for a similar mod that blends in with the period aesthetics like the portraits do in that game. One unified and consistent style that covers everything in the game, with nothing left of the previous files. Finally, after a long time in the making, I finished my own portraits, and can now share them.

Hi DurangoX Can you please fix the image of king of Poland Stanislav II? Because in late campaign (1780) the face that appears on the interface is not his.

I use this mod with Imperial Destroyer.

Hi DurangoX. Splendid job! Can you also please change the picture used for Crimean khan? I noticed his picture in your files (old indian king 003) is actually a Cossack hetman. It seriously ruins the immersion, when you're dealing with them in the Ottoman campaign. Can you please replace that particular set of files in the .pack with something more appropriate? In reality the khan should have looked like this En-academic.com. I thought picture 21 was a good fit when I checked.

Pretty fast the portraits get reused but other than that, its fine. Would've expected more historical portraits since they are out there

I'd also like to know where we can get full-res portraits.
