Dragonborn's war is a mod for Skyrim that allows the player (the Dragonborn) to take control of their own faction in the civil war. Battle against the Empire and the Stormcloaks to crown yourself the new high king of Skyrim.
Garrisons have three tiers. Tier 1 garrisons cost the least, and are equipped with very basic equipment making them look more like bandits then soldiers. Upgrading a fort or cities garrison to tier 2 will cost a large amount of gold, however will improve the garrisons equipment and skills. You will also be able to change the forts outfit for that tier, making them look more unique. Finally there is tier 3, the best tier you can have for a garrison. This will give the garrison better skills and equipment, as well as unlock new outfits. The actual units that are in a garrison can’t be changed, this can only be done on your actual army. The tier of a garrison is for that fort or cities garrison only, so upgrading one forts garrison won’t upgrade another’s.
