The Knights-Divine are known to be the personal bodyguard of the Divine herself, and through their solemn oaths of alliegance to her, these elite soldiers have become the enforcers of her will, removing by force those she deems to be enemies and passing on her orders to the Divine's subordinates. The Knights-Divine are handpicked out of the Templar Order's most pious and loyal fighters by the Divine to serve her, and through her, the Maker and his bride Andraste more directly, and are given even more extensive training and education. The Knights-Divine do not only serve and bodyguards and fighters, but also as the Divine's administrators and military commanders, and many are allowed to involve themselves in politics so long as political matters are directed in a way favorable for the Divine and the Chantry. Should the Divine deem the cause of the Templar Order righteous enough, she will allow for the Knights-Divine to participate in battle with the Templars. Often, the Divine's bodyguards take to war atop heavily armored Orlesian horses and fight as a heavy cavalry force, crushing the foes of the Divine beneath the hooves of a cavalry charge.
That's so cool.
Very cool
we will have a dismounted version of these bad boys yes??
As a halberdier bodyguard for special generals sent by the Divine.
If they are a special bodyguard, how does regeneration work for them? Do I have to wait or is there a way to retrain and replenish?
There will be a way to retrain and replenish as a Templar settlement with access to the proper tier 3/4 barracks will be able to replenish the dismounted Knights Divine, but they will have an incredibly slow replenishment rate as the Templars' top units.
