Crow Marksmen:
The Antivan Crows are infamous for being the most feared order of assassins in all of Thedas. Through their contacts, influence, acquired riches, and intimidation, the Antivan Crows have access to all manner of arms and armor. Thus, Crow Marksmen, who are assassins trained to wield the Antivan longbow to deadly effect are able to get their hands on any poison desired by them. Once these Crows dip their arrows into a jar of venom, or more insidious poisons, their doomed targets have little chance of survival. While it takes a very handsome payment to not be on the wrong side of Crow longbows, the results of bringing these dangerous men to the battlefield are well worth the price.
Crow Duelists:
Hailing from the most dreaded order of assassins in Thedas, the Crow Duelists are highly dangerous and skilled men who are nearly the perfect swordsmen. Crow Duelists have honed their skills after many vicious duels with their contracted targets, and with their finely forged rapiers, Crow Duelists can somehow cut down heavily armored enemy troops in droves. Crows like these are the reason few enemy generals will invade Antiva willingly, for not even highly trained bodyguards are enough to prevent these ruthless murderers from reaching their targets.
Damn, I can't wait for this!
Yes, I need more!
Will they be mercs or a guild-related unit?
Guild-related, they will require a special building to unlock and train in an Antivan settlement with the proper building.
Also as mercs, but as mercs they will be some of the most expensive mercenaries besides mages. :-)
why not give the crow masks to the duelists as well :D
The beaks? Mostly to make the marksmen have a few different touches from the Duelists (hood colors are slightly different as well). The beaks are more in line with the Crow marksmens' desire to pick off enemies at range, as birds pick off worms with their beaks, if that makes sense.
That I do get, but maybe give the duelists a distinctive mask as well cause hoodies are too cliche haha

How about a mask of sorts that only covers one eye in the shape of a crows feather/wing
? With the hood still apart of the uniform too
