Well it is good to be back working on this after some things caused a short hiatus of work. Good thing that the second beta was almost ready when work restarted. There are all sorts of minor improvments, bugfixes, level fixes, re-designs and all sorts of good stuff. Another first has been reached, i have made a trailer for the next beta!
As you can see it incorprates qoutes from people that have played the mod, shows some of the new stuff like the X-Deaths, Flying giblets and a slightly improved artstyle. The amount of blood on screen is not going to be at brutal doom levels, just at a level of shadow warrior and duke nukem 3d. Also E1M4 waste processing is being replaced by a much more fun and less monotonous level, based on the early version of Deimos labs.
This level is dark, moody, cramped and open at the same time, which makes the level much much more fun to play, compared to its predecessor.
Also E1M1 has gotten a slight re-design, changing some the bays ceiling height, adding a way to see into the hangar bay from the start room, a little less crates, and of course a texture change
Expect great things such as luna citys big reveal, two deathmatch levels, butfixes ahoy and all sorts of nice things in the next beta. OH!, And did i mention that its coming out on december 24th, so have a merry doom-mas everyone, and a happy new year.
