XM-89 Particle Pulse Pistol image - Doom: The resurrection mod for Doom

This game is an extention of the doom universe and will provide intense action on an old game platform (known as the doom engine). With the enhancements of the Doomsday Engine which is a powerful port that adds alot of new features such as: 3D Models Particles High resolution textures Dynamic lights High quality music and sounds Immersive scripting system Alot of other cool features We are using this engine and not another one (for example Q2's) because we still want to be true (for what it's worth) to the original doom games. So no bumpmapping and other hot shot stuff will be added (maybe later as an addon). The game will not contain Doom2's standard 32 levels but alot more then that and will be devided into episodes.
