Endlessly roaming through the Space, an alien fleet is closing to a blue planet. Its inhabitants, blissfully unaware of the upcoming threat, are struggling with the chaos they have to face everyday. And yet, it will all soon change. The world will finally become united against a common enemy. The Earth will never be the same anymore. But what will this war bring? Do the humans stand any chance against such a foe? Will everyone willingly join to fight the alien thread? And why, do the aliens seem to look so human-like?...
So, once again, after i already finished something i decided that i don't like the way it works and it needs to be redone. This time it will be the Anchorings. Not sure how they will look like yet, though.
What is sure is that the Vintarid "construction yard" will change its animations depending on whether the "anchoring" process is done or not. I'm also trying to make Aligners required to keep the "con yard" alive, or make it harder to kill while they exist, which would force people to clear out everything before they can finish the Vintarid player.
Looks terrifying...
Good, that was the point. :)
why do alien structures always look like a pu-er I mean Eye of Sauron?
I actually tried to somewhat base it on depictions of oumuamua, except partially shattered and more chaotic. If people find any weird resemblance because of that, i wash my hands of any responsibility. :v
that's totally awesome!
its alright, Aliens do look like dong heads and...other stuff normally so it completely fits~
Have you tried making the eye look more like the eyes of an octopus?
I deliberately tried to make it look reptilian, i don't think any other eye (including octopus) would feel as malevolent.
Of course it means people will immediately think that it's the Eye of Sauron... ah, well... <shrugs>
It can demonstrate its malevolence by having an eye in the structure of that of an octopus and it looks more alien than the standard reptilian eye.
that thumbnail straight up gave me the impression I was looking at a LOTR model
