Domus is a horror themed Half-Life 2: Episode 2 modification. You are Joseph, who finds himself on a deserted island, after a prison break from the infamous Nova Prospekt. On this eery island you must force yourself to survive, no matter what. As you try to settle down, mysterious things start to happen. Something isn't right. Something is haunting you. Is there someone else on the island or is it all in your head? You need to find out the truth, before you end up losing your sanity. The gameplay in Domus consist of puzzles, exploration and daily chores. This mod is an atmospheric, tormenting experience, that you don't want to miss.
Looks pretty nice.
A nice dawn
Reminds me of Underhell house.
Which is a good thing!
Valve said once: "Making a masterpiece takes time."
I agree Valve, I agree
looks good! maybe the stairs a a bit steepish and the single steps too big (could also be the high fov, dunno). i also would look at the railing - it's broken like it would never brake in real life. the atmosphere is great alreadyd really! :)
I agree with the steps. Maybe add another layer of steps between each one? As for the railing... I disagree. It's made of wood and I've seen railing "damaged" like that. But the way it's portrayed isn't realistic in my opinion. Maybe having the broken balusters angled? Anyway, good job with the atmosphere in this one!
Nice shot and atmosphere. The buildings have good proportions which makes it look convincing.
Yeah, the stairs are one of the most common problem with HL mappers. The stairs should be made with closer to 2:1 ratio instead of 1:1. There is actually a very good Wikipedia article on how to dimension stairs.
Nice :)
Thanks all for feedback. Fixed the stairs and adjusted the railing a little :)
