i'm a bit confused on why you are using fraps. Maya has playblast feature to output a video straight from the program, does max not have a similar function? other wise it looks pretty nice.
First of all, I'm using 3DSmax. I use fraps because I haven't a good knowledge of render system of 3d studio max, for this reason I use a very simple program like fraps!^^
