The Best overhaul mod for Rome 2 TW at the moment. New mechanics, tons of new units, reforms, even more realism but without making it unplayable. If you've liked mods like Europa Barbarorum for Rome 1 you will like this.

This is a fantastic mod.In my opinion the most in-depth, historically authentic mod that there is for Rome II, period.

once u try it ,u will never play without it

Adds a shot of reality to the sick and ailing combat of Rome 2. If you were initially turned off by Rome 2's absurdly fast battles, and nonsensical battle tactics, then this mod has got you covered. Moral and exhaustion are now something that is more than an afterthought, the campaign dynamics seem to add more depth, and the units even have their proper names.

All in all, keep up the good work.

New immersive campaign map mechanics and complete faction overhauls together with a more challenging gameplay experience make this mod without question the best Rome 2 mod available.

Well done

Divide et Impera is a great mod for Total War: Rome 2. When you try it you will enver want to go back to the original. Just don't expect it to run smoothly without any kind of bugs as it is not finished yet.

Very good!

This is probably only thing that returned me to rome 2 TW, its unbelievable what TW creators missed, its like whole new game

If you play small factions (Saba, etc.), you can't win. It is impossible to muster an army big enought to conquer another province. You can't improve your city because you don't have enough food, while yout enemies already have fully developed cities.
The combat bonuses for the computer are to high. You can't defeat one spear unit with tree sord units, even if the spears attack uphill and you surround them. An enemy range horse unit easily defeateds two of your melee horse units in melee combat.
As a bigger nation you can at least try to overpover a small nation with numbers. But there are way better balanced mods out there.
