Divide and Conquer is the biggest Third Age: Total War submod. The latest release was V5 on July 23rd, 2023. DaC V5- A Kingdom Reuinted features all previous content as well as new features such as the Reunited Kingdom, faction overhauls for Dunland, Enedwaith and the Vale of the Anduin, and overhauled UIs.

What is included in this sub mod
This is the Total War Campaign (removing all alliances and wars at game start).
It should probably be named "Sandbox Campaign" for people to understand what it does. I didn't until i read your post.
All campaigns are "Total War Campaigns".
Is this the installer to install DaC or it is a sub mod for DaC?

if i download and install this submod,would i have to make a whole new install of TATW and Dac to play the campaigns normally again,or would it just be the alternate campaigns that are played like this?
I always recommend people make backups of folders before they make changes to them like this one.

whenever i finish choosing my faction it will go to the same screen where you pick what campaign and it doesn't let me click choose a faction

Pls someone can help me¿? I can't find any info about why my game doesn't launch. I try to pick one faction but game doesn't start, it come back to the same screen you pick what campain are you going to play. Any solution to solve that¿? Thx
Go to the "base" folder located here:
Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3\data\world\maps\base
And look for a file called "map.rwm" and delete it. Then, try to start a new campaign. It's possible your current map.rwm file is corrupted so you'll need to delete it in order for a new one to get generated when you start a new campaign.
If i wanted to play a regular campaign,and a total war campaign,should i have a fresh install of third age for each,or can i use one for both?
You would have to have 2 copies of the Third Age Total War mod. One for the base mod and the other to install DaC into.
What do you mean by Regualr and Total War Campaign? I think i understand, but i'm not 100% sure. Please explain.

I can't run Divide & Conquer V3. Without Divide & Conquer V3 third age runs, but with Divide & Conquer V3 i got a 0xc0000142 can't run the program error. Can someone please help me, i really want to play:). Tried almost everything on the internet to fix it.

Hey, i did as you said, and installed Third Age, DAC3, and DAC3 Submod according to instructions. And i did not do so OVER an existing version or over DLC. I do it the smart way, install seperately, then rename the mod after a DLC in folder. But i encountered an issue upon startup and the game crashed.
Right-click the TATW.bat file and make sure the path matches the folder you put it into.
Oh, just realized i got the same problem as them, lol. Except, mine says, "Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit."

Hello i am having a problem whenever i try to start the .bat file or the .exe it says ''error of app'' kingdoms.exe the app cant be intialiazed correctly 0x0000142 press ok to close it . what did i do wrong cause 3.2 third age works well but DaC v3 dont ....
Hey I followed the video and downloaded it into the mods folder but the result is sort of spliced version of the original TATW and your mod, so all of the UI assets belong to the original mod and the campaign is yours, either way it doesn't load the campaign and sends me back to the main menu. Any ideas on what the fault could be?
Forgot to add but was i supposed to install any previous versions?
