Based on the Harry Turtledove novel of the same name. However, that novel was set in 2090, while this is set in 1915, also I may have edited the lore of it just a little bit.
In the ex-United States, 21 factions are currently fighting each other or making alliances to fight other factions in WW1. The faction with the more German, Austrian, Hungarian, or Ottoman population will obviously side with the Central powers.

Hello there! We here at Communal Studios are not dead, and have agreed to take in volunteers for working on projects on ours. Speaking of that, we've made a list of possible future projects.
1. A Hearts of Iron 4 mod called "Novae Terrae" (or maybe Pilgrim's Song) which we've already written an index of factions for: Docs.google.com
2. Some sort of Lisa the Painful spin-off that explores more on the topic of factions/gangs and the social implications and such.
3. Continued development on the Kaiserreich mod for Mount and Blade: Warband, and maybe even going back to Disunited States.

Why Does Every Mod Die So Young
Today I went thru moddb after like a year and a half.
Made over 31 tabs with new mods I wanted to download and try.
Downloaded 3 because the rest of them were dead....
Admins should really make a new rule, or just monitor it and delete dead things. One thing is that its annoying, but more importantly, its sad, to see so many dead ideas and ambitions :(
not gonna lie i would prefer to keep dead mods up for those that still want to play them but put a disclaimer that the mod isnt worked one
That's because making a mod is really hard and you gain nothing but personal pleasure from the achievement of making a mod you really wanted to exist. Although most of the times you don't even get that because there are always people who complain about the mod's slightest mistakes even though they never tried to string code line upon code lines at 4 AM and at 8 AM they gotta be at work. Either that or its just mods that started with a great idea but proved too difficult if not impossible to create, especially by someone with no background in programming.

same... Parabellum fun and all but It is kind of boring in singleplayer mode when NPC doesn't do anything etc just stays on base
