Dissolution is a science fiction, single-player mod for Half-Life 2 that mixes adventure and action game-play. Set in the year 2089, in a universe dominated by a mega corporate entity, Xterrier, the player awakes in a hidden lab to the voice of the mysterious Wilson. Guided by Wilson, the player must make their way through the ravaged Xterrier 581c colony, making use of any and all resources they can get their hands on in order to survive, all the while attempting to piece together the events leading to the colony's collapse and their own identity.
Description
Automatic installer (.exe) for Dissolution v1.0. Dissolution is an adventure/action mod that focuses on story telling, exploration and character development. It is set in an off-world colony, Xterrier 581c, and the player must scavenge to survive.

Interesting mod. The voice acting could use some work. However the voices for (And sorry in advance for suddenly forgetting the names) the head of Xterrier, and the scientist who contacts you are pretty good. I have a decent feeling that the same person voices them.
Actually, they were done by two different people — but they are both excellent!

great mod .... this mixes some of the original half life with some of half life 2....and to great effect.....

Where exactly am I supposed to be installing it to? I know it's not default for me. Am I supposed to put it in Half Life 2 common ? or just steamapps common? Not working for me please help.
