Welcome to a session to familiarize with the really old mansion Disponentbostaden in a small hamlet named Carlfors in Sweden. This is my first project, a fully isolated conversion custom story where some parts are based on real events that allegedly occured inside the mansion. It does require the Justine patch update, do not forget to install it, or the story will not be playable. I hope you will enjoy my story if you give it a try, and, do not forget to have a fully cleaned box of underwear, they might be needed if you're not a tough one.

It is a fully isolated conversion custom story. When it is "isolated", it is easy to install - just one folder, which will not affect your game or other custom stories at all - since it is "isolated".

I hope my explanation makes some sense:

The original configuration files have not been edited. (or, well, it exists edited copies of them inside the FICCS folder)

A regular CS loads the original config-files while a F(I)CCS can have its own configuration files - which makes it possible to modify all kind of game settings.

So if a F(I)CCS has its own config-files, the original config-files will not be loaded when you run the F(I)CCS. Same for the game, when you run the original game, the F(I)CCS config-files will not be loaded, the original config-files will be loaded as normal, since a F(I)CCS is isolated and can not affect or mess up your game.

Uhm yea, I am developing a full conversion, which seems to be technically the same thing really. We just call it a full conversion.

We are doing it like White Night, the folders are marked as *mod acronym*_configs, for example. We have a batch file that runs the configs of our mod without any effect on the original game. I think you explained a simple thing in a tiny bit too complicated way ;)

Fully isolated conversions are different and tend to be better from a user standpoint, as they're much easier to install and uninstall and there's much less chance of original files being corrupted.

Great trailer, the only thing I don't like is that you showed the player being killed. Over, and over. It kind of makes it look like you are supposed to die a TON in the game.

Great critic! It is things like this I want to hear. Yea, you are not supposed to die multiple times, so that is kinda bad. Trailers it not my strength or kind of thing, I had no idea how to fulfill the time that was left of the song, so I just made it in that way. The trailer will just give you a glimpse of how things looks like in the map, but it will hardly spoil what will happen when you play, so the game-play will probably be much different compared to the trailer.

Nice trailer, I'm agree with RoCKBaNdMaN, and I really enjoy this music, but i got confused, if the story occurs in sweden, why is that "beware the dog" sign in Spanish? I'm Spanish btw :3

Because that sign actually exists in the reality and it is in Spanish. I don't know why they are not using a sign in Swedish, maybe because Spanish is more cool :].
