This is simply a revision of the original Invisible War storyline, sequel to Deus Ex. It is my personal opinion that the original had a great storyline with lots of interesting points to make in the field of conspiracy theory, and it is the endeavor of this mod to retain the general plot while making the game much more entertaining and relevant to, not only the original Deus Ex, but also today's state of conspiratorial affairs.

After eight years of being lost, the mod, Invisible War Revised, has been found thanks to the project leader of Deus Ex Reborn (who thankfully still had it on their hard drive) and I! Thanks to Defaultplayer001 of the DXArchive project, Hawkbird, Hanfling, and others in the community, the mod has been made fully playable, voice acting has been re-activated, and many map issues have been fixed.

Invisible War Revised is a re-imagining of the Deus Ex sequel, Invisible War, being more grounded, linear, but having some rather questionable moments. We have added a warning for these dialogue moments. Being unfinished, you may find holes in the map or characters with no dialogue. The mod has almost no combat, instead opting for a more laidback playstyle. It had a copyright-ridden soundtrack, full of ironically fantastic pop songs; I have uploaded a new soundtrack from Invisible War to avoid any copyright issues. This mod is fully voiced by one person! Over 2000 lines of dialogue!

If you don't know what happened to the original mod creator, read this page, be in mind that it may be disturbing to some. Do not donate to the paypal link in the mod summary, as the funds will not be used.

If you want to play the very original version of the mod, or want to play with the original soundtrack, OR just want to see any updates on the mod, Join the DXHQ discord, and visit the deus-ex-archive channel!

Defaultplayer001 and I will continue to work on improving and adding to this mod, as we see it as a very special experience.
