I have seen alot of people having problems with this so i would like to show you the way i have done it for steam
So to begin i would like to show the paths that they would be going to in to.
for steam its as simple as C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War II - Retribution
so that's click on program files in my computer then to programmes x86 or whatever you have where all your files are from there click steam then steam apps then to common and then finally click your game folder just once then install to that location it should already have that destination in the installer
once it has installed go into your folder where you have just installed it
and scroll down till your find the destoyer 40k shortcut !!!!! not the application the shortcut !!!!! run that as administrator and you should load 40k destroyer.

I tried installing it but when I click on it in the retribution folder it says the specified path does not exist
Hey dude! Double check that the target path etc is set for the same folder. I don't use my C drive for games as it's an SSD, so I have everything on D drive. I had to swap the locations for the short cut and then it worked!
i cant swap locations it keeps reverting back to my c drive and when i change it to the correct location it says invalid location

So I installed the Dawn_of_War_2_Destroyer_40k_Mod_2.0 file. Updated the file paths of the shortcuts, I see the "Destroyer 40k" splash screen when it loads. I see Gabriel Angelos standing in some badass armor dual wielding Power Swords with a lascannon on his left arm. I start a new Space Marine campaign and in the very opening cutscene I see Diomedes wielding a chainsword and bolter, but I *also* see the additional units in Martellus' squad, so I'm hopeful! The 4 some odd space marines march forth toward their objective, but when the camera changes the additional tech marine squad members are gone. I played through the first couple missions and never got any of the changes from the mod... :(
I also tried adding "-dev" to the shortcut, but that only blocked out choosing "The Last Stand" when I start the game. Help?
Having the same issue, followed the instructions to a T , get Angelos in the badass armor and dual power-swords but nothing else so far in the actual campaign.
