This month we have a total UAN update for you all.
Several years ago the Chinese army designed a new anti-air system for supporting their ground forces. By combining older military technology with the newest tracked chassis, the Type-100, or Quickfire, was born. Its nickname comes from its rapid firing 21mm quad cannons which can take out an unfriendly helicopter or plane in a matter of seconds. In line with this modern technology, the Quickfire is also equipped with a new target designation system which guarantees greatly improved accuracy of its shots.
For a long time, the UAN worked hard to find an advanced attack helicopter throughout its vast empire yet there was nothing which could compare to the modern attack helicopters of other countries. For this reason, the UAN High Command began modernizing one of the old attack helicopters from the Russian Federation to meet their needs. After several years of difficult work, the High Command revealed their new chopper, the Mi-28H. After performing very well in combat situations, it was quickly put into mass production and soon became the main assault helicopter for the UAN. Its main role is taking down armoured targets and just a couple can cause an entire convoy serious problems.
After many years of war with WEA, the UAN High command began to spot a large weakness in their formidable air force. Even though they already had an air force to rival any nation, it became apparent they lacked a powerful Air-to-Ground Bomber. This hole was rapidly filled by the new MiG-23. It flew higher, faster and hit harder than almost any bomber in service anywhere. This monster of a bomber was created in a hidden facility deep in the Himalayan Mountains. The Howler is equipped with the best in modern aerodynamic technology along with its massive experimental jet engine and its cluster based payload. Its codename "Howler" was created by WEA troops nicknamed for the howling sound its massive engine made during flight. The WEA’s intelligence network are attempting to locate where these so called Howlers are being created but the search has proved fruitless so far.
Before the UAN war effort could start fully rolling along, a reliable transport truck was needed to protect armaments and supplies. The UAN decided to adapt an existing North Korean truck to suit their needs. Thus the UAN Supply Truck was put into service.
