D.E.A.D will be pushing the Source engine to its limits! Being a mulitplayer modification where players can play as a human or a zombie we have many areas to worry about, gameplay, function and design. There will be 3 key game modes along with some extra modes to be included in later updates. The 3 key game modes are: - Redemtion (control areas and fight back the undead) - Demolition (destroy enemy strongholds and key objectives) - Rescue (save the trapped humans from becoming a zombie potpie) Other game modes may include: - Deathmatch - Survival - Zombie Roundup Game features will include: - The Evolution System , based around a players skill level he will be givin extra abilities, such as marksmenship, medical aid, speed, strength, vision, stamina, armour, and others..

Who knows maybe we will revive the mod at a later date, if there is interest in it and enough people to take on the workload... until then thank you all for your hard work and dedication to the project, I wish you all luck in your future travels.

honestly im not surprised. and besides theres enough zombie mods for hl2. join those and get them out sooner.

You should donate your models and such to some other mods though, you had some great stuff!
Lemmon, currently there are only 1 true zombie mod that is currently done and released. ( for hl2 at least )
I would have loved this mod to have come out.. I kinda had a feeling this was going to happen when it was first announced though. As most zombie mods do not make it for one reason or another sadly.
Just like hl1 when it comes to zombie mods, 75-80%+ wont make it to a release.
I am currently trying to learn how to make maps, if you guys are in need of one and decide to bring the mod back to life. Possibly by that time I will be decent enough to make some nice maps for you.

But could you put models etc. in one package and put it in mods download section, so all work wouldnt go to trash can?
