Very impressive work!
Excellent design and graphic work, props! Fits very well with the ugly yet efficient/clever utilitarian craftsmanship of goblinkind too:
“Now goblins are cruel, wicked, and bad-hearted. They make no beautiful things, but they make many clever ones. They can tunnel and mine as well as any but the most skilled dwarves, when they take the trouble, though they are usually untidy and dirty. Hammers, axes, swords, daggers, pickaxes, tongs, and also instruments of torture, they make very well, or get other people to make to their design, prisoners and slaves that have to work till they die for want of air and light.”
P.S.
Lothlórien *really* needs some love as well; especially the golden-armored "Lórinand" elite line which frankly looks worse than the Galadhrim line of vanilla TATW/DaC. The green/grey-garbed early tier units look fine but the elites of Lothlórien are just not up to par with the rest of the mod's extremely high quality - a lot of their units lack the bowstring drawing animation too. They have a very interesting campaign with their far-flung Edhellond holding but the disparity of their unit visuals always bugged me. (apologies if they've already been updated, I may be remembering an earlier version but I also didn't see an updated unit in the gallery)
Yes, I agree. There isn't anything in the works for Lothlorien at the moment, I'm mostly just focusing on the new goblins. I will at some point make an updated high quality galadhrim model and I will use it as a base to update the Lothlorien elite units.
I guess times have changed and many years have passed since we touched the elves.
