Story:
The Germans have secured Stalingrad and have formed a solid defensive line just past Moscow as planned,now the time is ripe to strike Britain. After the failure of the Battle of Britain years earlier the Luftwaffe have reformed and have taken control of the skies at last. Now after months of planning the German army have finally organized into a force capable of an amphibious landing of Britain.
As the Allies themselves are planning on an European Invasion, the Germans have decided to use this in their favor. A pre-emptive strike on England,hoping to use the stockpiles of American munitions around coast to fuel the Axis strike force.
Style:
Like most of my maps, they will be very classic FPS, run and gun with challenging environments. Enemies won't have massive amounts of health like my previous map but officer battles will be different.
The map is will show similar characteristics to D-Day but in a re imagined perspective featuring a beach war-zone, close house to house ,street to street combat with a forest fight,battle from vertical positions and take on elite American and British soldiers,mortar teams, officers and possible tanks.

Hey I was just wondering if the community would be interested in another cod2 SP mission based in an alternative history like my others.
Ive been thinking the mission would be based on a final assault of Moscow from the German perspective so you would be expecting large scale battles,sniper duels,alternative paths to objectives and alot of Soviets fighting for their lives.
Please comment on this mod page or pm me with ideas if you would be interested in following and supporting such a mod.

Moscow would be awesome. Let's put an end to Stalin's reign of terror once and for all! Maybe even an assault on the Kremlin itself (if you're ambitious enough) similar to CoD:WaW's 'Heart of The Reich'? :D
I assume Shermans would be standing in for T-34's, since they're more similar-looking (both in colour and general shape I think) than Crusaders. Actually, is it possible to retexture a model for a specific level? If so, we should replace the Sherman's white starts with red ones.

On second thought, Crusaders have a more similar shape than I originally realized. Hmm... maybe use retextured Crusaders, or a mix of lend-lease Shermans and retextured Crusaders (Although the Crusader's gun is tiny, it'll have to do unless someone wants to model a T-34)?
I dont know about you guys, but I love playing as the Germans in WW2 games.
Great uniforms, great weapons, great strength, courage and discipline, and amazing tenacity. The Wehrmacht deserves a lot of respect. :)
It's a good mission, though i had a lot of trouble at some points. I died over 5 times trying to get off the beach into the town, at the swamp and at the radio base.
And agin, you gave the officers more health, you really should stop doing that.
It's great, but for your next mission try to focus on not making some poinbts to hard.
