Dark Angels Sub-Commander: Master of the RavenWing (Sammael) image - Dawn of Glory mod for Dawn of War
Tired of playing as generic repainted space marines? Fed up with old & outdated Ork, Eldar, Imperial Guard Models? Then you have come to the right place. Dawn of Glory is a modification aiming to give Dawn Of War a Total Makeover: -Space Marines will be separated into distinct Codex Chapters: Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Space Wolves, Imperial Fists, Raven Guard & Ultramarines; each with its peculiar cosmetic flair & unique units (Deathwing Knights, Sanguinary Guard, ThunderWolf Cavalry, etc.) -NEW models for ALL Ork units, custom new models for Warboss, MekBoy, Mad Dok, Gorkanaut, & more. -Imperial Guard are now two separate Factions: Militarum Regiments (Cadians & look-alike), & Militarum Legions (Death Korps of Krieg, Steel Legions); although these two play the same, they will have different models each, & distinct unique (Elite) units. -No More useless tech or buildings (techs & upgrades system revision underway) +More surprises (see upcoming screens) Love you all! -FromSpess
Sammael, Captain of the Dark Angels 2nd company "RavenWing":
This was, hands-down, the most challenging model I've created until now; because It consists of TWO actual, highly-detailed models which are supposed to be in tandem & look cohesive together.
Built from scratch, with hand-painted textures; I painted his face texture myself (it took me almost 15 days to paint the face alone, lol), as warmup/practice for further face textures: now I'm confident I can make a convincigly beautiful Eldar Farseer (female) & "handsome" Autarch (male).

Just quick question;why is lower part of Sammael painted black while upper armor is dark green? O.o
Because only the chest & shoulder armor parts are team-colorable (just like the official artwork & miniature, both shown in same image)

Man,I can't wait.My patience is running low,but Rome wasn't created in a day so I will wait.I check your mod daily to see if there are some news.I'm glad you decided to publish your mod for DC and SS.SS is really bad and I don't like it at all,not to mention horrible performance even after tweaks.DC is far better game and runs a lot better,at least on my machine.Engine of this game is weird even GTX 980Ti has frame drops,so make sure you optimize it well!Cheers!
I completely agree with you, brother. I am also aware that SS is a horribly optimized expansion, & that's why I decided to prioritize Dark Crusade version.
