Darkwind RPG - A Hero's Tale is a usermade mod for the well known game Warcraft III the Frozen Throne. This mod will take the player away from the standard strategic real time game and throw him into a 3rd person, isometric filmed roleplay game. Many unique features, custom models, advanced scripting and a interesting story will make Darkwind RPG to an experience you should not miss. The first versions will be released as singleplayer. Multiplayer version(s) will follow, but differ in some features because of the limitations set by the Warcraft III engine itself.
In this preview I show you the latest system I've added to the current build. It's and Gem/Socket system similar to that used in Diablo III. For now I've added five different types of gems and two tiers of each. Gems can be placed into empty sockets to provide a bonus.
This map is quite possibly the most advanced warcraft 3 map there is. I think I'm going to be playing this many many times when it gets released. Good job, sir!
