Darkwind RPG - A Hero's Tale is a usermade mod for the well known game Warcraft III the Frozen Throne. This mod will take the player away from the standard strategic real time game and throw him into a 3rd person, isometric filmed roleplay game. Many unique features, custom models, advanced scripting and a interesting story will make Darkwind RPG to an experience you should not miss. The first versions will be released as singleplayer. Multiplayer version(s) will follow, but differ in some features because of the limitations set by the Warcraft III engine itself.

I didn't know that when you breathe, your arms also extend out like that. I must be a alien. xD

Nice work though!

Btw, what is that annoying sci-fi beeping/weapon sound?

Haha, didn't noticed the sounds. That was a slotmachine running in the background. I forgot that FRAPS records every sound, not only from the active window.

Those intense movement is a common technique in videogames. Objects and over all characters seem more "alive" by moving. Ingame you won't notice that at all.

Thanks a lot. The animation progress on this model is good. Though it will be only used as a kind of actor no combat animations are needed. Instead of those it will get talk and several cinematic animations.

Description

In this small video I'll show you some steps in the creation of a NPCmodel for my project Darkwind RPG. The mainfocus lies on the texture which maybe look a little clumsy and washed but ingame it looks alright.
