Dark-Light Games the people behind Darkest Hour are pleased to announce the Dog Green Teaser Trailer.
The video comprises over five minutes of intense action packed footage of our pilot release map Omaha Beach Dog Green Sector (as well as a few sneak clips of other maps to watch out for). Whether you're boarding a Higgins boat or manning the bluff defences you won't have seen Omaha at this level of detail before (did I mention the trailer only shows 50% of the entire map!)
Other highlights include a look at the vehicles, units, weapons and features we will be adding to Darkest Hour in the near future. We hope you enjoy the trailer as much as we enjoyed making it and if that wasn't enough we've also included some media shots of our M4 Sherman tank, Player models and upcoming maps.
See you on the beach,
Aeneas2020

I should point out that Darkest Hour will feature all allied nationalities in Normandy not just Amercians...however this is the Dog green Teaser Trailer hence the US flags and Ike speech.
ehhh...looks great...can't wait...been waiting for this for a long time..huge RO fan, and great trailer...buuuuuut...I was hoping you guys would have focused more on the allied weapons in the trailer..but i guess thats why it's a teaser...I want to see the garand and carbine iron sites, and the tommy, and well everything....looks great though.
yeh it's just a teaser :D expect some more updates soon, we just wanted to show you some stuff while we all worked on finals etc, now a lot of us are finishing up expect to see a lot more.
Ooh, despite being one of the most overused settings in gaming, I am actually excited to fight on that Normandy beach, it looks great.
Yes, Normandy's been done, but has it been done right?
our aim is to do normandy right, we have a lot of respect for other mods like resistance and liberation and we're trying to bring 100% realism as far as battles and togography are concerned...we even had guys draw up togograhpical maps of the area everything is almost exactly how it would have appeared on the day(i.e. no SPR inspired crap those houses were there and the cliffs are all correct even down to depth of trenches etc)....and when i said its only 50% of the map i meant it, you won't just be fighting for the beach but the town and fields beyond it...all in one map (and lemme tell you its beautiful) but we like to keep somethings under wraps and tease you.
I recently purchased RO and I love it. The gameplay mechanics are the best I've seen in WWII shooter. Any mod that adds more forces, fronts and battles ontop of a strong game has me excited!
