Daedalus is a science fiction mod set in 2135. In the single-player game, one assumes the role of Alex Calveres, the captain of a deep-space exploration vessel with a motley crew of characters that are different in every sense but work together well. An employee for the Orion Federal Conglomorate, Alex was told to break his usual schedule of exploration and patrol to deliver a government package to a research facility in a distant star system. The single-player story begins on Earth where you are told of your unusual mission, when you arrive at the station you discover that a horrible and sinister catastrophy has occured, and the station is adrift in a now devastated star system, you travel over to the stricken station to investigate and what you find out ends up throwing one's character into a search for answers and truth. This is just an alternative intermission screen I
made for between scenario plot advancement etc.
The black area in the center is where the art
would go. This whole thing is based of the similar
image blur posted, i just thought i would try my
own style.
N.B: This is a concept. Not a finished work. The
background sucks, i know. the rest could use
polish. blur has given me some tips, but i
don't know if i will have the time to get
around to redoing it.
To be honest, I prefer Blur's original idea. No offense, but it just looked a bit more... suited to the mod. Perhaps use the colour of this one with the style of Blur's one?
no offense taken. I like blur's more also, this is pretty much a concept, mostly because i have little graphics skill. the general idea would be to take the best eliments from both and combine them.
