Doom 4 For Doom is a mod for GZDoom, based around Doom 2016's weapons and monsters.
Description
For those who want a Doom 4 Mod for Doom that actually feels more like the oldschool Doom and less like the Q3Arena-Pinatafest that is Doom4. Disclaimerino: I respect TREMENDOUSLY the work of the creators of Doom(4) for Doom. It's just that Doom(4) has its flaws, which I'll try to fix (hopefully) with this mod.

One thing I really disliked about D4D was the item sprites (Yes everyone, I know it was being more true to 2016), you could hardly see where the items (especially ammo) were or what they were for. And a pain sound is a welcome return too, there would be times where health would just drop from 100 to 30 with no warning until the alarm goes off... after I'm dead lol

one thing i really hate about d4d is the quick melee. its like a phallus suddenly appearing on the screen
Doesn't seem to want to launch with any version of GZDOOM. What version was out when this mod was made?

I placed them in the right order, as well. WTF?
