A patch to fix the issues that have been found in the Add-On Collection.
Oops.
Turns out I missed a few things when testing the collection. Guess that's what happens when you try to do everything yourself!
This patch should fix all the issues people have found (so far). Those issues are:
- A Hell Day not loading due to missing "file for package scriptedlight"
- Cave Escape not loading due to an invalid filename... again
- Enforcer not working correctly in certain mods (firing creates a useless ammo-pack)
- New Alcatraz not setting the player model as a Skaarj Trooper
- One Day in the Life Of... not loading due to a None.MyLevel error
- Unreal Nightmare not loading Noork's Elbow map due to missing "file for package Newmca12"
- Unreal Nightmare not using the altered HUD (which displays important info on enemies)
To use, just install this into your Unreal Gold directory. This'll add a few extra files, as well as overwriting a couple in the 'System' directory. Then run Unreal as usual.
Regardless of whether you've installed any previous patches or not, this one should be installed. I ensure that any patches I release include all the previous fixes and well as addressing any new problems that I'm made aware of, so you don't need to worry about wondering which patch to install - there'll always just be one, and it'll always include everything.
One final thing - I recommend you don't Enable OldSkool or mess around with any of the settings. I've already fine-tuned thing to work as-is, and fiddling around with the settings could cause things to break (the Enforcer issues is an example of that). If you DO decide to change things up, you do so at your own risk... so to speak.
(Also, apologies in particular for the error with Cave Escape - I did fix it in the initial version of the patch, but then somehow forgot to include it in all subsequent revisions of it, so... yeah, that one's on me)
I found some BSP holes/errors in Unreal Nightmare.
You'd have to take that up with the author of Unreal Nightmare, I'm afraid :)
