Cross of Iron 1.20 adds a third column of doctrines as well as some new units.

Cross of Iron 1.20 is now available for download!

The much expected Cross of Iron 1.20 is here and brings with it expanded doctrines for all the factions in CoH as well as some new units.

Since I've already covered most of the new units in this version of Cross of Iron in a previous news post, I'll concentrate on presenting the new doctrine abilities.

All twelve doctrines have now received a third column and some of them have been rebalanced as well, with some old abilities being moved from one column to another and even had their Command Point cost changed to better integrate the new options.

As such, the new doctrine trees look like this:

I really hate the balance, how can a 88 shell bounce off a sherman 3 times!?!?!?!!? This mod is really unbalanced towards the germans!

First off, this is something that applies to all of the guns in CoH not just the Flak.
Secondly, this is hardly something that can be properly fixed since this is mostly an issue of how CoH calculates those shots.
Also, I've tried 'realistic' CoH mods and still experienced these issues at times.

If you really want realistic shots, with accurate penetration data and falloff, playing Men of War is your best bet.

Yes you can make it so it bounces less often! Use Corsix Mod Studio (which this and all CoH mods use) and change the penetration values of the 88 against different units.

Please dont talk about stuff u know nothing of and confuse ppl.

To: Cross of Iron development team.
Thank you guys. This is a great mod like most of the other CoH mods are. But I would like to suggest CoI development team to increase the pop Cap, playing the game with 3 engineer sguads, 2 MG nests and 2 tanks really doesn't help the fun.

I like the new Canadian Riflemen, really helps if you're playing heavy arty support, they have better mobility than the standard british units and better weapons making them good for taking territory. I also like what's been done to the british tanks.

Unfortunately the 1.10-1.20 Update is busted and has been removed.
So if you've by any chance used that instead of the 1.20 full release then please download and install the full release instead.

In other news, a new update will be posted soon, fixing the bugs that were reported so far.

heven't played, dowloaded? yes. But you have to capture tanks that should be great. only with overrunn on tanks, your infantry killing the tank crew(idea from men of war).
