Promode comes from a quote by John Carmack, the man behind the Quake series, asking for improved gameplays for competitive play. Challenge Promode Arena (CPMA) is our design for a fast-paced, competitive deathmatch game that combines the best parts of all the Quake games into a game that is deep and rewarding, giving back to players the more they play it. Promode is about combining exciting movement, well-balanced and deadly weaponry with deep strategy and a range of styles that allows each player to be as individual as they can, we want each player to reach their own potential and never be limited by the game.
