Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. We agreed that flamethrower turret needs improvement, and this is it. Totally new looking flamethrower turret for China Flame general. All conditions remain the same. It is stealth and has a hold fire button. Very useful in combination with Fuel Tubes.

Now this is the **** I do like! Glad to hear all of those features are present for this unit in game. Can you also command it to spray an area like the original flame thrower tank did?

well.. what about an upgrade option..? that converts this cute but powerfull pistol looking turret to a fireball thrower artillery cannon..

Not sure that Creator will like that. And it is small model for being artillery. Also, we reached our limit for upgrades, this means, we cant insert new upgrades unless we delete existing one. And...what i think it could make flame general unbalanced. Imagine having bunkers filled with at units, vortex cannon perfect against units and aircraft, and next to them this stealth artillery defense. It could turn flame general into USA SW general.
naa ignore it im just greedy. messing discriminating details and the balance is out of argument for sure.
but it was kind of upset to hear there is a limit for upgrades..

Cool concept
Now only if fuel tanks could spill when they felt fuel under them, then you could build amazingly good death-traps that required no micro. Just have 4 fuel tanks in a row, the three first on fuel-proximity and the last one on normal proximity, then when the enemies sends their scouts they wouldn't just trigger the first one and reveal everything.
Or I guess you could simply trigger it to damage so that it leaks when shot/burned.

This easily falls within the category of the things I've seen in mods that are so crazy, it's cool. The only way this could be more awesome is if it can target air units as well and have an upgrade that lets it shoot lava instead. :D
Can i ask you what is the size of the texture file you use for this is? and is it TGA or DDS?
