Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.
Proceeding with nature units. Eagle, butterfly and fireflies made and inserted. Eagle is just different version of seagull, and will appear in desert and forest maps. Here you can see group of butterflies just doing their shit. They are hardly noticeable here, but with flying animation you will spot them in maps. Fireflies work the same, but they glow in night maps. More animals incoming...
Cool :P
Will certain animals have ambient noises like the seagulls we hear at coasts and beaches?
Yes, all animals will have sound effects. Some insects too.
I can't even see the damn thing. But neat additions though! Will you add more animals like deer and bears?
I know its hard to see here, i would have to photoshop it for this picture. But in game, with flying and moving, you can see them. Yes, deer and bears will be in game.
But what matters is: Do they move out of the way?
Yes, if you build structures on them, they will fly away.
Can you have wolves & bears and other predator animals attack infantry?
That wont be possible...since there are no such skeletons in SAGE engine...I can only make limitless animations in 3DsMax
Mmk was worth a try, I know previous C&C games had animals scripted and animated to attack infantry.
But they were Westwood's, not EA's
Media.giphy.com Ah! There they are!
Do they burn in a napalm strike?
Just asking
