There was only 1 tank like this ,It was panther d chassis and pz iv turret with side skirts. It did serve as command tank for schwere panzer abtailung (don't remember number) in Italy.

Actually, I believe this was a last-minute conversion into a Bergerpanther. The unit that used it was the 653.Schweres-Heer Panzerjäger Abteilung (s.Pz.Jäg.Abt.653) that fought on the Eastern front and was then transferred to Italy some time in 1943 (I only know this because by freak luck, the .653 was a unit I chose to use in Operation Avalanche mod!).
The turret didn't rotate according to most accounts, but the weapon was operable, and was likely added to give the recovery vehicle its own firepower.
for me, this tank is not feasible, since that, 75mm cannon is lower than has the panther tank
The tank on this pic didn't exist (as FJ13 already said) nor it doesn't look like this one-of-a-kind frontline improvisation from s.Pz.Jäg.Abt.653 command group. Something like PzKpfW V hulls couldn't be wasted for Pz IV turrets!
