Commanders Mod is a unique Company of heroes modification which only takes the best parts of CoH gameplay and expands on that. The result is a game with intensity you have never experienced before. This mod will test your skills over and over again. Commanders Mod is great for competitive matches, but also fun to play with friends or against the AI.

I see there are some people who are concerned about the removal of recourse gathering, tech tree etc.

First I have to say of course, try the mod first before you say anything ;)
But anyway, you all shouldn't worry too much. Tactical gameplay is in fact improved. Remember playing Company of Heroes, where you had to do everything right or you would be at a disadvantage at the next battle because the enemy would have more troops than you. Here this is not the case. If you lose a battle this only means you have lost some more recourses. At the next fight both armies have the same amount of troops again. What units you use and how you use them depends, not how many of them you have.

Also the quick tech rushes are gone. Remember playing Company of heroes, you were playing a nice game untill the enemy suddenly rushed in with a Greyhound armored car or something. You wasn't ready for it yet, and now it is too late. The battle is over. Did you enjoy yourself?

THIS IS OVER BALANCE......this will remove Fun and Tactics....all you do is Make and Send troops and thats it,rely on Luck and Special abilities of the units because there is no retreat.

Leth me take the example of HMG vs riflemen:
Sending your infantry in a HMG does not depend on luck, it depends on your insight of the battlefield. First send a recon unit, drop smoke with your mortar or simply spread out your forces will solve this issue.
Special abilities are still there, but they are made less effective and less common. Again, it is really about you telling your soldiers what to do.
Thanks to the removal of retreat you will now actually be punished when making a wrong move. Even running into a HMG is not the end for your soldiers. Some of them have assault or fire up, and if the enemy does not send other units after your suppressed soldiers you will be able to crawl them out with taking minimum losses. HMGs are not good at killing stuff. They only suppress.

:/ the stupidest mod ever seen after cheat-mod.... it reduce a great real time strategy game to a banal SPAWN AND SEND SPAWN AND SEND.....HERE WON'T BE TACTIC....ONLY AN INFINITE SPAWN OF TROOP....AND THE VERY LITTLE PAT OF TACTIC IS ONLY CAMP...BECAUSE IN COH MOST OF THE TIMES U HAVE TO WAIT AND DEFEND POSITIONS WITH A FEW UNITS BEFORE U ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MATCH...HERE IS A SPAWN MATCH FOR NOOBS

First I have to say international caps lock day was 5 days ago ;)
Same story applied for this message,
About the camping: Every sector now counts as a victory point. Imbalance is much quicker created. The players will be wanting to undo this imbalance. This created the fights, not camping. Good players will realize that they can go much further than staying at the middle of the map. Take as many sectors as you can and gain more population plus decrease the enemy's victory points.

But there is an even bigger reason why camping can not be found in Commanders Mod.
In CoH camping is rewarded. How longer you don't fight, the bigger your army gets. But not in Commanders, your army will not get any bigger simply by waiting. And you don't have to worry too much about losing a fight because you can resupply your army with fresh troops almost instantly. Players will take risks faster.
Also remember that artillery has become much weaker thanks to the limited population and longer recharge. The players will get bored fast if they cant arty their opponent while camping :)
