I feel like the Medium tank could use a tiny bit more of that WW2 flair on it

Light tank in RA remastered looks like the T95 with M48 turret, M-60 could be good but maybe a sheriden would better choice? just because its an actual light tank. The Medium with the M60-2000 looks pretty good

Using Sheridan as a Light Tank for Allies is a nice idea.

Why not just make it Abrams tank for medium tank and Bradley for light tank as it's shown in the icons on the sidebar. I'm not really a fan of this concept

The Allied Light Tank is NOT a Bradley; the sidebar icon is erroneous as it's just a reused render of the Nod Light Tank; the Light Tank shown in RA cutscenes is visually similar to an M41 Walker Bulldog, albeit a bit more angular.

Could use the Chaffee or Walker Bulldog as they were shown in the cutscenes from the origanal game.

Either of these two are best since the Chaffee uses a 75mm cannon like the manual states, while the tank in the cutscenes could be said to be loosely based on the Walker Bulldog. The Bradley could be a choice too since this is an alternate universe, and some sources refer to it as the M2-F, according to the C&C Wiki.

The 'M2-F' is the Nod Light Tank, not the Allied one. An M24/M41 would make sense though since the cutscene Light Tank vaguely resembles an M41.

I was thinking about WW2 tank like Sherman or Pz-4 as light tank.
And maybe British Centurion as Medium Tank.

A Sherman would be unfitting, but a fictional Panzer-style light tank would be really neat (especially since Germany is the de-facto leader of the Allies in RA1, so it makes perfect sense to feature some of their equipment, alongside some British and French stuff too)

Not sure why everyone's needing to down vote each other here, again the point of the post was to explore ideas and (as I noted in the description) I was merely going by what my interpretation of the spites looked like in RA's alternate 1950's universe and not what Westwood did with reusing assets from the original C&C. Outside of game engine limitations, this wont be a 1:1 remake and some artistic liberties will be made.

Indeed, RA1 is somewhat plagued with re-used TD assets which aren't necessarily an accurate representation of what the RA units would actually look like in-universe, especially since there's roughly 45 years and a significant shift in geopolitical conditions between RA1 and TD.

Given that RA:Rdx is already a partial re-imagining of RA, IMO the best fit for the Allied tanks would be to drop the TD-era stuff entirely and go with either an M24/M41 or something Panzer-like for the Light Tank, and either a Centurion or M60A1 for the Medium Tank (or a blend of some sort perhaps?).

Description

Just for fun I did a little side by side comparison with my unused tank models to see how they would fit in the roles as Allied Tanks. The M60-120S is of course the Medium Tank stand in while the M48 Patton is a stand in for the Light Tank (instead of using the Bradley IFV) as it would potentially be in an alternate reality with the likes of the Mammoth Tank existing, everything predating the M60 might as well be demoted to a "Light Tank" with that thing around. Again I know there has been extended discussions on what would be the best "fit" and I know the M48 was not a Light Tank IRL but im just doing this as a comparison to the game sprites with what I have. I will probably modify and stick with my retextured M1A1 Tank Model from TD Redux for the Medium Tank. IRL really the M1 shouldn't even be a "Medium Tank" in C&C weighing in at 70 Tons.
