It's in fact Chinese characters (You know, Japanese use some Chinese characters) It reads fish-ear-fish-house-people (No joke but what is this ?)
Not exactly, it actually stands for (fish ear fish "horse" man) :P, don't why it was called like that, maybe its an amphibious armored transport.

You can try something like "竜蛇の要塞"，or maybe even "玄武要塞", dunno if that's correct in Japanese though, but it makes more sense than what you've got on it.
the problem i get chines words as box letters because i dont have the font ,i will appretiate to make it in an image

To be honest wicked model , and looks heavily armoured to **** , haha. But to many cannons for me , lol just 1 either side would shred enemy or possibly 2 at the back as flak , either way not trying to be negative just looks like a little over kill. but nice work , and lol about the chinese , it's actually funny , horse man fish shoe or what ever , who cares its fun , not serious , and i dont think anyone who is chinese will take offence lol.
i would prefer it to be a battleship that can roll on land!
