Well i actually think that the hands are proper sized, it's an M4, not a M16. The gun itself is smaller itself. Edit : Imho.
I have fired an M4 several times before, Although I agree that it is undersized, it is not a show stopper. Need more proof? I can send you to my facebook acount were I have pictures uploaded.
Jan Sander is right, and the gloves may be a bit thick so the overall size is ok. Great job 7Game!:D
