One of our new toys for the Foreign Units!
This self-propelled gun will assist Italian units on the Eastern Front. If you wonder why it has a tarp, it is to avoid making it bigger due to the size of the soldiers.

That is the strongest Italian vehicle that fought in the Eastern Front. Although it is not too strong.
Italian P40 tanks also served on the eastern front, and were much better armed and armoured than the semovente.

AFAIK these tanks didn't serve in the Eastern Front. The Italian forces that fought there were equipped with Fiats L6/40 and Semoventes 47/32 only.
That's why they won't get the Carro Armato P40.
I think semovente 90/53 was used to as reaction to the t34 and were not less effectiv..
Plus the Italians never really used P40s at all, the Germans did, but only in Italy.

why does it have a tarp? like whats the issue with the size?
because you would get this whole odd effect of small humans inside the tank/vehicle and larger ones on the battlefield. So its easier to just mask the people.
Without a tarp we'd have scaling issues, like we do with the SU-76. It's also easier on the person who's animating and much easier to model, speeds up development.
Correct me if I'm wrong: the assault guns are just armed with a 47mm gun, and that MG fire belongs to the Maximum M1910 HMG nest, right?

Can you add in the future Finland or Slovakia on EF mod? Theese countries fought against SSSR under the Germany, also Slovaks were first troops who reaches city of Rostov. Slovaks also fought on Kaukasus, Zhitomir and at the start of operation Barbarossa, they fought at Lipovec. I can send to you pictures and documents about Slovakian army in WW2, if you want them.

I don't think we can depict every country that fought as German allied in the Eastern Front. But if you want to depict Slovaks, could you make custom textures for their infantry troops(aka re-skin a unit)? If the result is good we can at least try :P.
A Winter war mod would be very much possible ;D Reskin a lot of german stuff, mix it with some soviet vehicles and you get finns.

is this tank have no mg ?
Yes, it has no MG. It had a driver MG in Reallife but it was operated by the driver when the vehicle was standing still.
