I thin that the fuel tanks are stupid on the tank side if it would get shot it would explode but its a very nice model
No danger of explosion outside the tank... that's why they used AT shells against tanks and not HE shells
but thats for real. watch the movie Saint and Soldiers and German Fuel is being put at the sides.
The fueltanks wouldnt explode... Its only some stupid Hollywood effects. In reallity, we cant just shoot a bullet on a car gas tank and watch it blow up because of that.
And fuel need the right condision between fuel and air to make an explosion, and thats not gonna happen in a sealed off fuel tank, simply no air to the fire. The fuel burns too slow to blow up.
exactly, mythbusters proved that u cant explode a gas tank (or even a propane tank) with any small arms fire, except possibly a minigun
