that could make a conflict... although I have seen games where they have seperate stories where one side wins and the other loses and vice versa

As far as the outcome of WW2... its pretty goddamn obvious who the victors were... some 'alternate ending' would just make people seriously angry.
Why would people get Angry? I'd like to see a Defense mission and i wouldn't get angry, alternate history is AWESOME!!! but i'd like to play the Russian side aswell. :)

If the game would be historical accurate on weapons the Wehrmacht would own the battlefield. But since the game is only "historical accurate" on the Story base its pretty self explaining thats than somehow not. lol
Talking about the vanilla game. Didn't played EF yet but I hope as Soviet you can't spam T-34s like hell and a Tiger needs 3-4 Shoots to take one down. Like in the original with shermans. xD

you can play both sided missions in berlin without spoiling historical accuracy just play as the germans where you have to fight for a certain amount of time to fufill the real events then get mashed by the allies and raped by the soviets.
The Allies did hardly any fighting in Berlin. It was purely a "Glory" stunt for the Americans to get to Berlin and meet the Russians at a crossroads, even saying the Allies played hardly any point in the Battle for Berlin is a disgrace for a Russian. Ive never really held the Russians in high regard personally, however Battle for Berlin was their battle, not ours.
Well Stalin really wanted to take Berlin and capture Hitler by himslef. He didn't want the Americans to get involved and the Americans just stood back until Stalin did his "thing".

lets make it like this(for those History Freak out there) you play as the Germans and defend Reichstag for a Certain time,then when that ends there will be some Cinematic or Text saying that "Thanks for buying us more time Kommandant your service will be honored,HIEL HITLER!" then the Russian's will Smash you and it will show "Victory"..............don't forget the opposite side also where you play as Russians and Smash this German Resistance.
