Report article RSS Feed A vote on time/size of next release, how exciting!

This is a vote on when the next release should be and its size...

Posted by deathteam15 on Nov 12th, 2012

There are two options:

1. The next version is released in about 2 weeks, with no Adeptus Mechanicus overhaul. AM then follows in the next release (early next year).
Pro: You get an update soon, and AM in the new year.
Cons: Couple of smaller but more frequent updates (wait, that's not a con really).

2. The next version is released in early in the new year with an AM overhaul.
Pro: You get a larger update, with more content.
Con: It's a little while away.

We will be using the voting method made famous by Lord_Doofus (I believe). Please give the option you wish to go for karma, and the one with the highest karma wins. Please do not give the option you do not wish negative karma, as this will make the results unrepresentative if some people do and some do not.

Thanks very much,

UPDATE: Voting is now closed. The results are as follows....Option 1: 28 votes.......Option 2: 22 votes. Thefore, we'll be releasing a new version within a couple of weeks. Thanks to all who voted. :)

It's interesting this, as option 2 says wait till new year for everything, option 1 says have what's already done now, and the rest in the new year.

Same content, but wait for the lot, couple of weeks off! To the beach........

The though there is that UA is planning on delivering you all a X-Mas present, so was going to leave the path clear for them to enjoy!

I have both mods installed, so I would download both. UA for epic scale and Codex for playing with all the races :)

How about just calling the small release a release candidate? Then if anyone is desperate they can install it if they want to.

Edit: I vote 1 because I am not that fussed about the mechanicus and can wait for their update. The new chaos stuff and support for the dance macabre on the other hand.... :)

option 2 for me i would like to get AM update over everything else... im more of a person who likes machines, robotic arms, and walkers well in general most of the mechanical things in wh40k unless it is from chaos all those strange symbols and demonic stuff just makes me shiver, but anyway my most Favorited group is AM special after reading one of the books about them.

depends on the vote result. As option 1 involves releasing the stuff already completed, no, but could well be fixed for new year release (if I remember to do it.......)
