Shouldn't the battleship have much more hp than cruisers since compared with modern cruisers they have significantly thicker armor and are designed to actually last in a slugging match with ships of roughly equal firepower instead of relying on active defenses such as CIWS systems?

Each vehicles type(light-vehicles, light-tanks, heavy-tanks, LAVs, APCs, choppers, jets, boats) posses it's own Armor settings.

Example: a weapon that causes 200hp damage to a light-vehicle, might not cause 50hp damage to a heavy-tank.

Battleships are old, just like cruisers, they are large ships intended to cause fear on the enemy. But on modern times when multi-mission ships are the priority this no longer matter why built a large battleship for "close-range" when a guided-missile destroyer can take out that same battleship at BVR?

nevertheless there are a few "modern" battlecruisers in service, so I've decided to add it to the mod...
And modern missiles(such as the Exocet) can cut a ship at half... effective anti-air defenses will make more difference than just the ammount of HP that a ship has...

Would like to point out the fact that the ship that was cut in half was a destroyer(I assume you mean the Sheffield during the Falkland war) significantly smaller than the battleship as well as only having aluminum armor which is much weaker then the steal armor. The Exocet only did that much damage to the destroyer due to the fuel in the missile going off and causing a chain reaction. Battleships are much more focused on surviving hits and a missile such as the Exocet just doesn't pack enough of a punch. Some of the larger missiles that the Russians use however do such as the Shipwreck or Granit.

Battleships can also use enlarged LRLA(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Range_Land_Attack_Projectile) to increase their range. If your going for a battlecruiser you might as well replace the cannons for more missile launchers and make an arsenal ship(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arsenal_ship)

The Russian factions is the one using Battleships such as the Kirov class-Battlecruiser.
And having a +25% HP than a cruiser, using a tougher armor that would repel +20% of most damage types makes it a quiet a fair battleship...

Battleships are "cool", but outdated and expensive, that's why most navies have decommissioned their ships and choosed smaller more modern ships.
And without CIWS defenses they're easy targets for aerial-strikes...one Exocet might not do enough damage depending on where it hits, but two would probably do the trick, or maybe a few Laser-guided bombs, or Free-fall-bombs...

well, you know that part about "Several functions(...)are being planned"...well that's it :P

But, I'm working on a improved version of a code used on Project Raptor for the mobile-Airbase for the carrier, as for the amphibious transport it'll simply produce an amphibious vehicle loaded with infantry with an fair price and will be able to load\carry vehicles as well.

The price of each ship and class will change based on its weaponry, hardware and unique characteristics this is just a standard in from which I'll be basing the base price.
