Phase I as an option alongside Phase II? image - Turmoil Across the Stars - Non WB version {DEAD} mod for Mount & Blade
This mod was previously called Clone Wars Conquest, i decided to change the name since there is another mod with similar name and it causes occaisionally confusion. I wanted to make it clear which mod is which.

Numerous people have requested Phase I clones to be brought back. This is an possibilty for us, however one we have not chosen to do due to obvious reason, that Phase II was the main clone force of the mod. However, it is fully possible to bring back Phase I clones and make them an option hireable, combining assets from Phase II armorsets with Phase I helmets remodeled. YOU, have a say in the matter. Hmm... you can make Phase I armors weaker than Phase II one and fit to recruits and low tier clone troopers.
That wouldnt make sense. Phase II almost completely replaced Phase I. Phase I is only possibly being added because of several requests. But it being weaker is a nice touch, as it was inferior to phase II
Doesn't need to make THAT much sense. It's a M&B sandbox mod after all, the more content it covers the better.
make it weaker than phase 2 but make it with a accuracy bonus because of the visor (maybe)
Also, people saying no. I assume that this adition wont remove the phase 2 armour so you don't have to worry.
As the title says, along Phase II. Meaning is that Phase II is the main force, also in Republic armies. Phase I is more of an option for those whom would rather get them.
Honestly? Personally I think it would look strange for both phase 1 and phase 2 units to be in the same army. I personally would make them recruitable using a village building or perhaps just leave the armour so it is available to buy at the vendor as it currently is.
oh i do share your opinion, but so far majority of people whom answered the poll do want them, and as it is very possible with minimal effort...
Perhaps just put a vendor on Kamino that can sell the Phase I armour.
As of now, it seems that majority of people are in favor of adding the troopers as an option. Also hello BlackFalcon, havent seen you for a while. Most of us devs are now on Discord, why dont you hop there too Discord.gg
Ok to not get everyone mad or something like that: what if we could hire them in taverns? And i really don't know how the "Own Kingdom" works but if it could be possible to put the culture of troops rectuited in villages or to be able to recruit troops for the garrison we could put Phase 1 Clones.
But anyway, put them in taverns and everybody will be happy
Taverns can take a very long time to build an full army. Too long. There is another option in mind. Replace training of Rancors with Phase I troops. Rancors are a troop thats for the most part utterly useless. Theyre slow, lack shielding, and while they strike hard, getting force sensitives is by far easier option. Besides Rancors dont even work very well. Their animations are weird at best. Obviously this is caused by the fact that theyre fit to human skeleton and animations.
In fact ive considered it for long. I never much cared for Rancors as infantry.
hmm ok if you don't mind and it's actually something that could be improving the gameplay then go for it :)
