Runtime Error Thread - CK2: Middle Earth Project (CK2:MEP) mod for Crusader Kings II

Runtime Error!

Which version of CKII and the mod?
When do you have this crash (during a game, before loading a game, ...)
Without these quick informations, i can't answer you

The CKII version ? You've got it in the selection screen
And youy didn't told me when the crash happened ?

Yeah,The mod I got was 0.1.5band I think the CKII version is 10.0.30319.01The crash happens after the loading screen, before starting the actual game.

Great news! I got it to work, turns out I had a bad beta at the time.

10.0.30319.01 shouldn't be the version of CKII by the way, for now we're using the 2.1.3

I must have been looking at the wrong thing, I don't really know where to look for that kind of stuff lol

I am getting the same error I am running 2.1.3 CK2 with version 0.1.5b plus the compatibility patch of the middle earth project I have tried it both with and without the compatibility patch and I get the same error. Where is the 'good beta' I have tried re downloading and reintalling the game and nothing works

It's because of the 2.1.3 patch certainly. The compatibility was made for the 2.1.1. We'll release a full new build soon now, so be patient some hours/days again Thanks for your report by the way!

Hi, i have the same problem with 0.2.1b, game is updated, error apears before even game starts to load, any advice?

Remove any old installation, try to reinstall the mod and be sure to have at least the 2.1.3 version of CKII
If it doesn't works, send me a PM with your installation and maybe a copy of your system.log and error.log from "Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/MiddleEarthProject" !

Getting the Runtime error every time I try to play, I have the newest version of CKII and the Mod but still crashes right before the loading screen ends. Tried reinstalling, removed all other mods, and tired with disabled DLCs but nothing is working. Please Help.

With which version of CKII are you playing? The mod is for the 2.1.4, not the 2.1.5.5/2.1.5.6. If you've got CTD even with the 2.1.4 version of CKII installed, it should be something wrong in your installation, you can send me a screenshot in PM, and i'll try to look at it

Fixed it. Apparently the Rar file was right next to an older version's Rar file....may or may not have accidently extracted the older version instead of the new one.....

Well, i can't help you if i don't know when occured the crash, how you installed the mod, ...

it occurs after the loading screen. I install it as the manual says to do it. Put the folders at Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod

And what's your version of CKII? version of the mod installed?

I think that is 2.14 and the mod is the latest.
