About the Game Chaos Theory is a single-player Far Cry modification and a prequel to the Half-Life 2 mod Edge of Chaos. Players take on the role of Ian Burns, an ordinary security guard who finds himself in an extraordinary situation when dinosaurs appear. The story unfolds via dialogue and cutscenes over five chapters, as Ian fights for survival along with the help of a fellow employee named Fernando Vasquez. Great care has gone into the design of this mod in an attempt to defy standard conventions. While various aspects of the mod are based on common elements, our approach has been anything but ordinary. We’ve done our best to shake things up a bit and put a twist on what you might be expecting.
