Sorry for the lack of update, no, the mod is not dead.
I will show you some progress as soon as possible, but the end of the school year is near and I've got important exams that are incoming. This is why I don't work a lot on the mod those last time
It do not let me a lot of time to work on the mod, but I hope I will be able to work on the mod during summer holidays...

17 March 2047, a shuttle of provisioning explodes in the Philadelphia's shed with a  liquid tiberium's bomb  inside.
The fragment of the gigantic orbitale platform still illuminate the sky which, already, the NOD's troops, taking advantage of the disorder caused to the GDI by the loss of its center of command, launch numerous assault around the world.

After, less than a decade of peace, GDI and NOD, the eternal enemies, have restarted to fight, putting their blues zones, protected from the Tiberian Infestion, to fire and blood...
The rumbling of tank's tracks, the rhythmical pace of mechas, the growl of reactors, recovers again the Earth, as a hymn come from ancient time, a hymn to the glory of the humanity's madness , or, perhaps, only to the madness of one of them?

At the same time, CABAL wakes up... He have heard its master ordered him an ultimate crusade, towards the assention...
Under his assault, a group of mutants, guided by their old and mysterious Chief, try to unite their brothers, but also to make the GDI and the NOD the real threat, the one the existance of which their Chief augured several years previously.
Their fight is a race against the clock, a race against the death, a race in front of the ciborg which annihilate them...

It is the years 2047, and, once again, destruction is the only order, survive, the only objective...

If you had informations about the original westwood project, please informe us, it will be extremely usefull for us...

Well, no, I haven't stop working on the mod during the passed month.
I was simply trying to solve my difficulties about ini.
During this time, I haven't directly work on the mod, I was just trying to create some code for completely new units, just to improve my skills...
Sadly, I am not successful...

3D models, I can do them, and I have make a lot of progress those last times.
Same for texture... This bug witch had been seriously embarrassing sometimes (see it in older news or pictures descriptions)  seems to had disappeared... I hope that it will continue as it...
 
But still remain that big problem : code...
Originally, there  was a team working on this mod, and I was only charged of 2d/3d art, scenario writing and contact with the community.
But others members have stop working on the mod, and now, I am approximately alone.

I have decided to continue this project and I will continue.
For example, I will soon upload a picture of a new mammoth tank based on westwood concept (yes, I have finally found one !) , and, maybe a few time later, I will be able to show you a finished Titan, with texture and animation.

But, at least for now, I will stop working on code.
Those models will not be put in-game, because I am bored of spending 10 hours to code a bugged tank or a barrack that make the game crashing when you build it...
I was thinking that, with a lots of time and a mountain of determinations, I will be able to improve my coding skills... But it was just a loose of time, a time witch wasn't spend on working on things that I can do... 1 years 1/2 without real progress...

I love working on this project, I love writing the story and working on models for the mod, but I simply can't stand anymore the see of an ini code.
 
I am looking for a solution...
For now, all progress will only concern graphics, and I will continue trying to learn how to fix those ini files, but if I can't obtain a sufisant result in the incoming month, I think that I will simply stop...

I inform you so you will not be surprised if it happen, and also because I think that informing you of why the project is ending before it's therm is a question of politeness...

I hope that it will not happen...

Thank you for the tutorial, but I have already see this tutorial on Fallout Studios.
I am using it to create my tiberium. But I might get wrong with something because it never work.

For now, crates are still in game (and can look like tiberium), so, tiberium is not my primary objective.

I will perhaps ask for help about it in a couple of time, but I would like to update all maps and add some units before...

I think you should look into Command and Conquer 3,it uses the same engine as Command and Conquer Ganerals, therefore coding should be similar,you might also want to look into Tiberian Dawn Redux and perhaps ask It's creators for help.

Create a mod for C&C3 is harder than creating a mod for C&C General, I think... Also I even do not understand how to pack my files...

But, yes you are right, C&C3 might be a good solution. The only problem is that I still don't understand how to mod C&C3. If I finally get with this monstrous thing that is used to compress C&C3's files, I will probably move to this game, it might solve many problems..

I know that it is possible, but I don't understand how...

But, I promise you that, if I am obliged to stop the project, I will start again on an other game... A game witch will be made with one objective : be easy to modify....
