Don't worry, this building is T4+ only and has a buildlimit of 3 per player.
It won't autofire (only fires via support power). See it like an EMP cannon with more use :P
Also while it can shoot pretty far (in this example test it had a range of 100 cells) that range won't be useful at all - as long your enemy is hidden in the fog of war...
So you may try to get some scouts into an enemy base to surprise them ;)
PS: I may still change the weapon type - it was just a simple placeholder.
So does each cannon have a separate cooldown?
Yes they will.
I like these OpenRA traces for projectiles, so smooth.
